A Blood Magic spell.

Overview

This spell allows an outsider (adoptee) to completely and irrevocably become one of the bloodline, as though they were a trueborn child of the adopter. Upon completion of this spell, the adoptee is for all intents and purposes, a member of adopter's clan and off the bloodline, and subject to all rights and responsibilities therein.

Invocation

This is an extremely long and delicate ritual that must be performed precisely and without error in order to be successful. The spell may be performed by someone other than the adopter and adoptee, but both must be willing participants.

A sacred phial must be prepared by the spellcaster. (OOC: Roll a blood magic success)
For nine months, every single night at midnight, both adopter and adoptee must willingly place a single drop of their blood into the phial. Not a single night may be missed by either.
On the full moon of the ninth month, both adopter and adoptee must be anointed in the joined blood by the spellcaster. (OOC: Roll a success)
So anointed, they must both sleep skyclad beneath the full moon.
Upon sunrise the following day, the adoptee must drink the remaining blood, while adopter recites the sacred words:
- "Blood of my blood, you are one with me. Blood of my blood, I am one with you. As from mother to child, from my heart to yours. You are born anew, a member of the Clan Name clan."
The spellcaster must bless them both, usually in a great ceremony amongst the bloodline. (OOC: Roll a blood magic success.)

To cast this spell, a caster must have 10 dots or higher in Blood magic.
