IC versus OOC

Trying to play anything resembling political intrigue on a system as open as Ares requires a huge amount of trust, communication, collaboration and cooperation. We don't expect our players to know everything their characters would know -- and we also require that you respect that your character does not know everything YOU know.

You will see logs, you'll see character profiles, people will talk, notes will be compared, tea will be spilled -- we won't say not to talk about IC, because communication is key to a healthy community, but we ask you to PLEASE be mindful of keeping your knowledge separate from that of your character.

Don't OOCly spoil someone's plans, or share secrets that aren't yours to tell. We expect you to act in good faith and anyone abusing this will not be welcome on our game.
