Jenkin

Jenkin was a young peasant boy living in a small village with his family. His father was blind, but he possessed the unique ability to see visions of the future. Although it was often unsettling, Jenkin's family had learned to appreciate their father's gift. However, Jenkin had recently begun to experience difficulties with his sight, and it worried him greatly. He feared the possibility of going completely blind and being unable to contribute to his family's survival. Nevertheless, he continued to carry out his daily tasks, determined to be useful and not be defined by his blindness. Despite these difficulties, Jenkin remained hopeful, supported by his loving family and his father's prophetic sight.

Jenkin was left perplexed after he was suddenly made a noble after the Flood. He didn't quite understand why he had been granted such a title, but he tried to carry out his new duties to the best of his abilities. As time went by, Jenkin's sight continued to worsen, and he started experiencing glimpses of the future, just like his father. His father, however, cautioned him to keep his abilities a secret, although Jenkin didn't understand why. Struggling to keep this newfound gift concealed, Jenkin was torn between wanting to offer help and obeying his father's warning. Despite all these challenges, Jenkin remained determined to honor his newfound nobility and serve his people as best he could, even if it meant bearing the burden of these visions alone.
