Brinan

Born into a life of wealth and privilege, Brinan, the only child of the Count, grew up in luxury. The family was rich, thanks to their ownership of multiple ruby mines. With no need to work, Brinan enjoyed the luxury of their existence, living a carefree life of leisure. They spent their days exploring the grounds of the estate, reading, and indulging in their favorite hobbies. Though life may have seemed easy at first, Brinan was aware of the expectations placed on them as a member of the aristocracy.

After Brinan's father, the Count, died in the Flood, they were forced to take over as the new Comte. Tragically, the family's ruby mines and wealth were lost, hitting Brinan hard. Deeply affected by their father's death, Brinan became overwhelmed by grief and found it challenging to focus on the demands of their new role. The once prosperous land was now struggling, with little to no help from a disengaged Comte. Brinan was distant and checked out, not seeming to care about the land or its people. The future seemed uncertain, with little hope for rebuilding while the Count remained detached and lost in their grief.
